A Transformative Anthropological Look at the Religious Process Based on the Evangelical Christian Matrix

The objective of this article is to initiate a forum for debate on the religious process of an evangelical Christian matrix, from an anthropological perspective, in its own concepts, in relation to discourse and practice, in comparison with guidelines based on a fundamentalism that promotes magical thoughts in to the detriment of diversity, plurality and respect for others, and with its genesis in representativeness that emerges in the historical and philosophical intercession of prejudice in social relations, as a reinforcing and reducing element of coexistence and dialectics. What we practically perceive here is the great challenge of Christian communities within a pedagogical evocation towards social justice and in the struggle to search for sources of virtues in religious groups that do not appear bureaucratic and institutionalized.

Introduction – the Many Lenses of Anthropology

Initially, the debate in this article will be to design a study of Anthropology, Anthropos (ἄνθρωπος, “human”) and logos (λόγος, “study”), based on a perspective, in which the object of study covers the social sciences, in terms of reflection of man in the confrontation of practice and discourse in the religious process with a Christian matrix, as well as their behavioral and formative characteristics of these social groups that consume plural demands, in reductionist organizations, developing in the multifactorial and interdisciplinary spheres of human dimensions.Anthropological understanding established itself  Apparel and Clothing Manufacturers Email List as an important foundation in man’s reflection on himself and the society in which he lives, leveraging ways of thinking with early manifestations, which sought to achieve .

Religion From an Anthropological View

Religious feeling is the presupposition of the consolidated and institutionalized process called (religion), in which “(…) the individual experiences of the religious person make us think of emotionalists, such as Rudolf Otto, who in the initial part of his work, The Sacred (1992)” , cited by (PEREIRA, 2016, p.272) as a profound emotional experience and denominated in numinous, which “presents itself as a mysterium tremendum , which can both fascinate and be repulsive.” (Op. cit.) But the mystery in religious feeling is the experience of the totally other, “that which is strange and disconcerting to us, that which is absolutely outside the domain  BTOC Database of usual, understood, well-known and therefore “familiar” things; it is what opposes this order of things and, therefore, fills us with paralyzing astonishment” (OTTO, 1992, p. 39).
